Imran Khan is a Pakistan politician, former crickter, and the ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan. He was born on October 5, 1952, in Lahore, Pakitan.

Imran Khan is widely regarded as one of the greatest cricketers in the history of Pakistan. He was a talented all-rounder, known for his exceptional skills both as a fast bowler and a batsman. Imran Khan played international cricket for Pakistan from 1971 to 1992 and captained the national team from 1982 to 1992.

As a fast bowler, Imran Khan had a smooth and athletic bowling action, generating significant pace and swing. He was known for his ability to deliver accurate and deadly reverse swing, which made him a formidable bowler in both conventional and subcontinent conditions.

As a batsman, Imran Khan was known for his stylish stroke play and resilience. He scored over 3,000 runs in Test matches, including six centuries and 18 half-centuries, at an average of 37.69. In One-Day Internationals (ODIs), he scored more than 3,000 runs, including one century and 19 half-centuries, at an average of 33.41.

Imran Khan's most notable achievement as a cricketer came in the 1992 Cricket World Cup held in Australia and New Zealand. As the captain of the Pakistani team, he led them to their first-ever World Cup victory. Imran Khan played a crucial role with both bat and ball, and his inspirational leadership was credited for Pakistan's success.

In 1983, he was honored with the prestigious Wisden Cricketer of the Year award. He was also named as one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Century in 2002, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the game.


After retiring from cricket, Imran Khan entered politics and founded the political party called Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in 1996. He focused on anti-corruption and social justice issues, aiming to create a "New Pakistan." 

Imran Khan's political career saw its ups and downs over the years, but PTI gained momentum and emerged as a major political force in Pakistan. In the general elections held in 2018, PTI won the most seats in the National Assembly, and Imran Khan became the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan. 

As Prime Minister, Imran Khan has prioritized economic reforms, anti-corruption measures, and social welfare programs. His government has also focused on improving education, healthcare, and foreign relations.

The flagship initiative of his government is the Ehsaas program, which aims to uplift the marginalized segments of society through various initiatives, such as cash transfers, education support, and healthcare access.
